QR code generator

The code is drawn in your browser. PaidPilot does not store it, shorten it, or send people through a redirect, so the code does not expire here.

How to make one

  1. Choose a type and fill in the fields. The preview updates as you type.
  2. Leave a light background and a dark foreground so phones can read it.
  3. Download a PNG, a doubled PNG, an SVG, or a PDF. Copy and print are here too.

Need it on a bill? The invoice generator can add a payment QR next to the total.

QR code FAQ

Do these QR codes expire?

No. PaidPilot draws the code in your browser. It does not store the code or send people through a PaidPilot link, so there is no PaidPilot expiry. A page you point at can still change on that other site.

Can I put a QR code on an invoice?

Yes. The invoice generator has an optional payment QR that prints next to the total. You can also download a PNG, SVG, or PDF here and place it yourself.

Is it free for commercial use?

Yes. The generator is free for a business invoice or any other use. There is no account and no fee. The encoder is the MIT-licensed qrcode-generator library by Kazuhiko Arase. QR Code is a registered trademark of Denso Wave.

Payment link formats, checked Oct 2026. PayPal.Me amount: add it to the end of the link, as in PayPal.Me/Name/25 (PayPal.Me FAQ). Cash App documents https://cash.app/$yourcashtag and does not document an amount in that URL, so this page leaves the amount off. Venmo's help documents a profile link such as venmo.com/username (Venmo help) and does not document an amount on it. Zelle QR codes come from your bank's app and are not at every bank (Zelle FAQ). There is no universal Zelle link. Paste whatever your bank gives you. Stripe and Square links are whatever URL that service gives you.
