Best free invoice generators

This is a short list of tools that can produce an invoice without a surprise paywall on the PDF. We build PaidPilot, so it is on the list, and the notes about the others are limited to what their own pages said when we read them.
PaidPilot
Free browser software for an invoice, an estimate, a receipt, a check, a check register, and a QR code. No account. An optional "Made with PaidPilot" line starts on and can be turned off at no charge. Data stays in the browser. Weak spot: it is not an accounting ledger, and it will not email the invoice for you.
Invoice Generator (invoice-generator.com)
Their page says you can generate unlimited invoices for free, and the FAQ says you can create and download PDFs with no signup. The page does not state a watermark policy. It is a focused invoice PDF tool, without the check maker or the late-fee calculator.
Invoice Simple
Their generator FAQ says invoices are 100% unbranded with or without a registered account. Their pricing page, which says last updated June 2026, lists Start for Free, then Essentials at $6.99 a month (up to 3 invoices a month), Plus at $14.99 (up to 10), and Premium at $21.99 (unlimited). A good fit if you want their mobile trial. Not the tool to pick if you refuse every paid plan.
Zoho Invoice, free plan
Zoho's pricing FAQ says the app free plan is forever free, with up to 2 users, 3 projects, and 500 invoices a year, and it includes "Powered by Zoho Invoice" branding. The app asks you to sign up. Their separate free generator can download or print. Save online leads to signup. Useful if you want customers stored online and can live inside those caps.
InvoiceQuick
Not free after the trial. The pricing page offers 30 days free with no credit card, then $19 a month or $170 a year, and says invoices, customers, and estimates are unlimited, with up to 10 users. Choose it when you want that hosted product. Do not choose it if "free" has to mean free next year.

Which one has no account?
PaidPilot does not. invoice-generator.com's FAQ also says no signup. InvoiceQuick, Zoho's app, and Invoice Simple's paid plans use an account.
